These are sobering times to be alive as the cosmic struggle between good and evil, as laid out in the Bible, is displayed.
As Western Christians, we have primarily lacked the understanding of the Bible, how it relates to current events, and where the world will end up. Contrary to popular belief, the Bible has much to say about this.
Despite the soberness of the times, it is essential to not partner with fear. God is in control, and we can receive wisdom, revelation, and understanding through Holy Spirit of how to navigate these times if we stay in the Word of God and seek Him with all of our hearts.
The saddest part for me is the innocent lives lost on both sides because of evil manifested in barbaric and savage brutality. We can’t ignore it and must intercede and find ways to support those aiding the people directly affected by displacement and the horrors of war. We pray for evil to be exposed and thwarted supernaturally, along with comfort for the grieving and traumatized.
I am not an expert on these things, but I am eager to learn and grow in understanding to better partner with God’s plans through intercession.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces.” For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.”

While I don’t typically focus on current events per se, this current war is very relevant to the mission of Secret Spring to equip the body of Christ with biblical understanding and empowerment to grow in discernment through Holy Spirit.
Lord, please stir up hunger for You and Your Word so we are not ignorant about what is happening in the world, especially in Israel. Give us wisdom and understanding to navigate these times and take seriously the call to intercede and represent You well to a lost and hurting world blinded and imprisoned by sin. We need You, Jesus, to empower and strengthen us for the days ahead and be clear about our part in spreading Your love and Kingdom wherever we go for Your honor and glory. Amen.

So many innocent lives are lost and so much destruction on this beautifulearth that God has given us. I pray that God will return soon. That is my prayer.
