I wanted to share some of my thoughts about my experience with The Bible Recap (TBR) since January 1st.
I’m enjoying it and learning a lot. I was a little nervous about reading three or four chapters of scripture daily. I understood it thanks to staying connected to the overarching theme of scripture and the assistance of the recap video that reviews what we read.
”All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.“
II Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV
I assure you there are times I am puzzled by what I read. I just don’t get it. But after the recap video, I find that rereading the section brings more understanding. I take a few minutes to jot down my thoughts or questions, and it doesn’t take long.
This program is an excellent investment of my time and energy, and I am reaping the benefits of it so far over these first few weeks.
Accessing TBR through the Bible App makes it simple and convenient. Everything I need is right on the app: the bible, recap video, and any video introducing an overview of a new book of the Bible.
I get so excited when Holy Spirit reminds me of something while I’m reading, and then Tara-Leigh Cobble, host and author of TBR, discusses it in the video. Confirmation we are hearing from Holy Spirit is priceless and a fantastic motivator to stick with scripture and seek to see God in every we are reading.
Here’s the website to learn more about the program and ways to engage it without using the Bible App.

So glad this plan is working for you and enriching you! It sounds really good. I had the same feeling about reading multiple chapters a day when God asked me to do a One Year Bible Plan last year. But I ended up loving it so much!
