Pausing to Celebrate

Time continues to fly by. I had intended to write another post back in January, and here it is, nearing the end of March! Easter will be here before we know it, and my daughter will graduate high school!

My focus has been homeschooling my children and ensuring she has a good senior year by participating in as many events as possible with the peers she will be graduating with.

It is an exciting time for our family as she wraps up her studies and receives her hard-earned diploma. There were days when graduating from high school seemed impossible to both of us.

“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭36‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It’s true; the things you fight hardest for mean the most to you when you finally attain them. I am so proud of her (and us) for conquering this ‘Goliath’ together, and I look forward to seeing her launch into this next season of her life with great pride and admiration!

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.”

3 John‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Besides homeschooling, one of the highlights of 2025 so far has been going through The Bible Recap for a second time, and both my teenagers have joined me. They are enjoying it and sharing what they learn with me and each other, which makes my heart burst with joy! Thank you, Holy Spirit, for stirring their hearts to try and stick with this fantastic plan that reads through the whole Bible chronologically.

The other highlight is Women’s Tuesday Night Life Groups, which our church launched in February. Women gather for snacks, fellowship, worship, and a video from The Emotionally Healthy Woman. Then, we break into small groups to discuss the material and pray for one another. It truly is one of the highlights of my week, as we have fun learning and growing together!

What have you been up to? What has been a highlight of 2025 so far?

Homeschooling is no small feat, and it’s inspiring to see how your perseverance and faith have carried you and your daughter through.
